This Cookie Policy explains how VeraForge Technologies Corp. uses cookies and similar technologies on veraforge.ca. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences, measure usage, and (in the case of advertising cookies) deliver more relevant ads.
2. The cookies we use
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function. For example, remembering that you dismissed our promo banner for the session.
- Analytics. If enabled, tools such as Google Analytics or a privacy-friendly analytics provider help us understand which pages are popular and how visitors find us. These cookies collect aggregated, mostly anonymous data.
- Advertising / Meta Pixel. If our Facebook/Instagram ads are running, the Meta Pixel and Conversions API may set cookies to measure ad performance and to show you relevant content. Similar pixels may be used for Google or LinkedIn ads.
- Google Ads (gtag.js). We load Google's global site tag (
gtag.js) to measure conversions from our Google Ads campaigns and, where applicable, build remarketing audiences. You can opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com.
3. Managing cookies
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.
- You can opt out of Meta's interest-based ads in your Facebook ad preferences and via youradchoices.ca.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics via the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
4. Do Not Track
We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals because there is no common standard for how to do so. We will revisit this if one is adopted.
5. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as our tools change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.
